Natural Dye Training Program,

Jaffna, Sri Lanka 2022

I planned, coordinated and facilitated a 5 day natural dye training program, working with the women of a Batik centre in Northern Sri Lanka in 2022. Locally sourced bio-waste materials including onion skin, coconut husk, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus leaves, turmeric and acorns were used to dye textiles with wax designs.
