Furoshiki Workshop

Fibre Lab’s ‘Artisanal Wonders Pop-up at Hobu Hotel Shoreditch, London, 2024

In collaboration with Fibre Lab, as part of their Artisanal Wonders Pop-up at Nobu Hotel, I repurposed Nobu Hotels waste linen applying patterns through the traditional Japanese process of Shibori to create patterns using the natural dyes of indigo, onion skins, walnut husks, tea and coffee grind. The textiles were used as part of a sustainable workshop where participants were shown Furoshiki folding techniques to sustainably gift wrap presents in the reusable materials.
